Why choose Redcastle?
We believe we have a unique Value Proposition, which is:
More functionality
At lower total cost
With higher quality support
Delivered in a closer partnership than the competition can offer.
How can we claim these things?
We've tried to explain below.
1. More functionality
In our focus markets, for the business processes our customers run, our solutions are more complete as standard and easier to use than competitive products. This is because the system is continually improved by us as we implement more customers in these markets.
This is not just our view; it's the feedback we've repeatedly got from prospective customers during their evaluations. Obviously, we'd like the chance to prove it to you too.
2. Lower overall cost
Total Cost of Ownership = software + implementation + possible enhancements +
annual support.
If we look at each element of the cost equation in turn:
Software: We are able to keep the prices of our software low, as we are not buying these programmes
from a 3rd party on a margin.
Implementation: Because the applications have been written for our focus markets and are continually improved
for customers in those markets, the standard, 'out-of-the-box' functionality is ready to run.
This means the cost of implementation is lower and the lead-time is minimised,
both of which impact the financial return and the payback time on investment.
Enhancements: The number of enhancements you would actually need is minimised by our on-going
process of adding in all the 'reasonable' requests from customers in our focus markets.
Support Contract: Since our applications are priced very competitively,
the percentage based annual support is also very competitive; and all-inclusive by the way (see below).
3. Unlimited top-class support
Since we wrote the Redcastle applications, we know them inside out. If there's something that should be added in,
we'll do it - usually for free. We know the SuperOffice CRM applications intimately as well,
as we've been supporting customers for well over 10 years.
Also, we offer an all inclusive support contract with any amount of telephone, remote access or on-site support
(to be clear, that does mean unlimited). So there are no other costs and you can rest easy that we will be there when ever you need us.
We think it's a good deal for both sides and it shows we have faith in what we provide.
4. We've got 'skin in the game'
We think it's important to point out that we, as a business, have a vested
interest. We use our Business Management System end-to-end in house at
Redcastle. So the efficiency of our applications drives the speed and
effectiveness of our own operation.
We find this gives companies who evaluate us and our applications a lot of
confidence.
5. What's our approach to building a partnership with you?
a) A first meeting to understand what you want to achieve as a business.
b) A high level application overview directed specifically at the issues you
outlined. This often incorporates a look at how we use the system day to day.
Also, we would give you a budgetary cost at this stage.
c) If the fit looks good and the rough pricing is in the right range,
we usually suggest a longer session with the key stakeholders, to understand in more detail the requirements,
and where any gaps might be in the standard product.
d) If we progress to presenting a solution proposal, we would clearly state which gaps
will be filled as part of the product, and which, if any, we would want to work around
or discuss funding for.
e) If we then went ahead together, the standard product and the fills for any agreed gaps would be the basis of the
Phase 1 implementation. Other things we normally deliver in Phase 1 include: reports and dashboards,
plus importing data from, and linking to, other systems (especially Accounts).
f) After Phase 1 is complete, and the users and system administrator are fully up to speed, we would work together on
any further enhancements you might want.
